“Mexican Coke, it’s better for you!”
Could there be any statement that is less true? Ok maybe….
“American Spirits are better for you!”
So about their Mexican Bottle Coke.
Everyone says it is better for you because they use pure cane sugar instead of the US ingredient High Fructose Corn Syrup(we can just call that Monsanto sweetener).
Anyone who has ever tried the two will tell you RIGHT away the Mexican glass bottled Coke taste way better. Why?
What are the known differences?
Mexican Coke comes in a glass bottle.
American Coke comes in a can or plastic bottle.
How could that matter?
Well a glass bottle would provide the purest form of Coke tasting without foreign elements altering the experience.
Some people can actually taste the metals in a can. And a plastic bottle has the lowest freshness shelf life at about 10 weeks. Maybe 9 months on a can or glass bottle.
The bottle will always reign supreme. Same with beer.
Why doesn’t Coke make an American version in a glass bottle?!?!
What are the perceived differences?
Mexican coke is made with pure cane sugar.
American Coke is made with High-fructose Corn Syrup.
This is something we accept as truth and factual knowledge based on the label on the bottle stating the recipe.
But what if in Mexico they had laws that allow Coca-Cola to lie to us and use high-fructose corn syrup heavily along side pure cane sugar without even listing it as an ingredient?
They can! And they do….
Mexican Coke bottling companies have been sneaking high-fructose corn syrup in the Coca-Cola formula as a normal practice. It’s cheaper!
According to a study conducted by the Keck School of Medicine at USC, “sugar” is listed on the ingredient list of Mexican Coca-Cola but lab results showed no sucrose in the beverage.
Why use high-fructose corn syrup instead of sugar?
Well back in the late 70’s the US Government made sugar ridiculously more expensive with tariffs and started subsidizing corn which made HFCS a lot cheaper and the only option really. This forced soft drink makers to use the cheaper alternative, HFCS instead of organic cane sugar.
This was likely done with some secret conspiracy to push more corn on the US population. At the same time in 1982 Monsanto began buying seed companies in the agricultural industry. See?
Currently most of the nations corn is effected by Monsanto in some way or another. They themselves in 2006 claimed that RoundUp was used on 40% of the nations corn! I bet it was more and is even higher now. A more recent article says 73% of the US’s corn is Monsanto’s GMO breed.
So instead of pure raw organic cane sugar, we are eating fructose made from Monsanto corn crops that are genetically modified to sustain high levels of toxins and heavy pesticide poisons.
Does it really taste better?
According to this extensive study American Coke taste better.
Again, they need to just put the American Coke in the glass bottle and solve everything.
